About Rio Hondo SupplyFamily Owned and Operated Rio Hondo is family owned and managed by Richard and Lynn Brook. Rio Hondo is Spanish for the "deep creek" running through the Brooks' ranch situated in the Snake River Valley of southern Idaho, 4.5 miles west of Buhl, along Scenic Highway 30. The Brooks have been in the ranching and farrier business for 35 years, having complete knowledge and expertise pertaining to the horseshoeing industry including distinctive, brand name tools and supplies. The Brooks also include their son and daughter, Rick and Suryia, in the daily operation of the business emphasizing friendly service and customer satisfaction.
